Liverpool’s star left-back Andy Robertson also talks through his upbringing and early career in Scotland. Robertson started his career as a striker but overtime grew into the left back role at Queens Park. A season later in 2013, Andy Robertson transferred to Dundee United, where he made a name for himself and was selected in the Scottish Premier League Team of the Year, alongside Virgil Van Dijk of Celtic. This earned Robbo a move to Hull City in the English Premier League. Andy Robertson spent 3 years at Hull City, 2 of which were in the Premier League, where he managed to impress Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool to sign him. Robertson’s career took off at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, although he initially struggled to break into the first team. In his debut season at Liverpool, Andy Robertson reached the Champions League Final vs Real Madrid, but Liverpool lost 3-1. Since then, Robertson has been selected in the Team of the Year 2019, after winning the Champions League Final 2019 vs Tottenham, the Super Cup and Club World Cup. Andy Robertson is now regarded as the best left back in world football.
